Section 1
Answer the following questions in about 500 words each

Question 3. Examine the distinction between Marxian and Weberian ideologies.
Question 4. Discuss the concept of Social Structure as a model.
Question 5. What is entrepreneurship? Explain the perspective of Schumpeter on entrepreneurship.
Section II
Answer the following questions in about 500 words each
Question 6. Explain the roles and functions of civil society in a democracy.
Question 7. Distinguish between modernization and modernity.
Question 8. Examine the relationship between identity and identification.
Question 9. Discuss the elements of caste in gender stratification.
Question 10. What is citizenship? Discuss its various types.
Validity:
These assignments are valid for two admission cycles (July 2019 and January 2020). Validity is given below:
1. Those who are enrolled in July 2019, it is valid upto June 2020 Term End Examination and you must submit assignment to the Coordinator of your study centre latest by 31st March 2020
2. Those who are enrolled in January 2020, it is valid upto December 2020 Term End Examination and you must submit assignment to the Coordinator of your study centre latest by 30th September 2020
